Dear Betsy, I like using fresh herbs when cooking but they only last a couple of days and I end up throwing them out. Do you have any suggestions to make them last longer?

Dear Hazel, Before storing the herbs, remove any discolored leaves. Wrap in a couple of paper towels to absorb any moisture. Put in a sealable plastic bag. Be sure and remove any air before you seal the bag. This should keep the herbs longer for you.
